Before you begin, make sure all required materials are at hand and that conditions are fulfilled. To optimize conditions and aids, several preliminary "test runs" on fabric remnants are absolutely essential.

Pull off the protective foil.

Place the transfer motif in the required position by means of the transparent adhesive foil.

Turn the fabric together with the foil and the transfer motif so that crystal stones or metal elements face downwards.

Lay the Teflon® foil and/or the (double) ironing cloth on the fabric.

Close the heat press (170 deg. C).

Once the required application time is completed, open the heat press.

After application
Important: Remove the adhesive foil when cold or slightly warm.

 

 

 

 

Tools and utilities

Irons - are recommended only for sample application work. Steam irons are unsuitable because of the vent holes in the base.
Iron pad - The type you choose (felt, silicon foam, cardboard, silicon foil) depends on the kind of transfer you work with.
Iron cloth - Linen or cotton.
Teflon®web - Protects the iron pad against glue residue. Wipe off dry after the application.
